United Way of North Carolina Presents the 2023 Winners of Spirit of NC Awards

Cary, NC – United Way of North Carolina held 3 awards ceremonies in April to celebrate the Spirit of North Carolina Awards in the Central, Eastern, and Western regions of the state, in Pittsboro, Goldsboro, and Mooresville, respectively.

On April 9, United Way of Iredell County assisted in the planning and facilitation of the ceremony in Mooresville, NC at the Charles Mack Citizen Center.

85 individuals and organizations were awarded the 2023 Spirit of North Carolina award. These award recipients modeled a dedication to community service through their fundraising, volunteer, and advocacy efforts.

United Way of North Carolina’s annual Spirit of North Carolina Award celebrates individuals and organizations for their exemplary partnership demonstrated through fundraising and volunteer efforts, outstanding leadership, and creative team building. Additionally, organizations focusing on DEI values and individuals who are champions of United Way will also be celebrated.
