This is also referred to as the UW Helps NC Fund. This fund is put into effect during a statewide emergency. Right now, the fund is collecting donations for Hurricane Helene efforts.

Who manages this fund?

  • The UW Helps NC Fund was started and is managed by United Way of North Carolina, supporting response and recovery efforts related to Hurricane Helene.

Who does this fund help?

  • Donations to the Fund allow United Ways in the affected areas to respond to our local agencies' immediate requests and to meet needs as they unfold throughout the coming weeks. 
  • Donations without a designated county will be used to address the most pressing needs.

My organization wants to contribute a large donation to this fund, but I don't want to submit it through the three methods above. How do I go about doing this?

My organization wants to match my donation. How can they do that?

  • You will most likely need to provide your organization with a receipt. Make sure you have the receipt to send to your organization. Then have your organization access the donation form to submit their matching donation.

I've checked my email inbox/spam folder and I still haven't gotten my receipt. How can I receive it?
