Coast2CoastRx and participating state and local United Ways formed a partnership in 2012 to help fill a financial and medical void for individuals and families in need of prescription assistance.  The United Way mission of helping improve lives parallel’s the Coast2Coast mission of providing a universe of prescription savings options while improving health outcomes.  As prescription costs continue to increase, the new Rx card offers individuals the opportunity to save on their prescriptions and other health related services, while serving as a conduit to help increase positive health outcomes and financial stability for local communities.  The Coast2Coast card has provided millions of dollars in savings on prescription drugs that directly impact not only consumers but the community at large. 

A TRUE Community Partnership

The United Way partnership will not only provide access to affordable medicines with the goal of improving both consumers' health outcomes and their personal finances but also create revenue to support vital community programs and services supported by local United Ways.   From its inception, Coast2Coast was developed on a business model and philosophy of giving back part of their proceeds to support local community needs and provide additional funding solutions to help address gaps in services.   This partnership model provides a $1.25 donation to the participating United Way for investment in their community work each time a prescription is filled in their community using the card. 

Through the partnership with United Way, Coast2Coast can give back in a meaningful way and make it possible to invest in the work of local United Ways seeking to create real lasting change in their communities.  C2C is not only investing in local United Way communities but also providing an additional investment in system-wide work happening through areas that have United Way State Organizations.

The Coast2Coast card can help save you money on prescriptions, vision, dental and other health related services.  There is no application or paperwork to complete and no health questions will be asked.  There are no income or age requirements and everyone can be covered.  All information is confidential and will not be shared.   

How can I find out if my pharmacy takes the card?

The Coast2Coast card is free and is easy to use.  Just present the card at your pharmacy or other health provider to see if you can reduce your costs.  The card is not insurance but is designed to help you save on your health related costs.   You will need to check with your doctor or pharmacy to see if this card can help you save money.  The card is accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies including the big chain drug and grocery stores.

How much money will the card save me?
