The North Carolina Secretary of State provides an Annual Report each year with a detailed summary of solicitor's activities in NC including the solicitor name, charity name, gross receipts, net share and % dispensed to the charity.

The Secretary of State has developed a Smart Donor Checklist to use before you write that check to a telephone solicitor.

The NC Employment Security Commission - Labor Market Information Division - provides a database listing theTop 25 Employers in each North Carolina county.  

The NC Employment Security Commission also provides searchable databases on Average Employment and Wages by industry in each county.
